  • Helps you to avoid out-of-network costs.
  • Can help you learn about more programs and benefits offered to you.

You can use Guest Search to find medical care without logging in to BAM. If you are a current member using guest search, please select your plan and network carefully to avoid higher out-of-network costs.

Diagnosing Conditions and Prescribing Drugs

Mental Health Counselors

Therapists, social workers and psychologists are mental health specialists that can offer on-going counseling and help you find ways to deal with mental health issues.

Substance Use Counselors

Substance use counselors help people who suffer from addiction to break the cycle. Your plan may have inpatient or outpatient support for chemical dependency treatment.

Virtual Visits (by MDLIVE)

MDLIVE gives you access to Virtual Visits with a board-certified therapist or psychiatrist. These visits can be by mobile app, online video or phone. They can help with counseling, child/behavioral learning issues, stress, and more.

Digital Mental Health (by Learn to Live)

Learn to Live is an online, self-guided resource that can help with anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems. It's private, available at no cost to BCBSMT members, and accessible anytime, anywhere.

Not all health plans include Learn to Live.

Employee Assistance Program (by ComPsych)

ComPsych offers short-term counseling sessions and other work / life services for you and your family to help you tackle life's everyday challenges. Disponible sin costo e integrado con su red médica.

Learn the Signs You May Need Help

Everyone can have some of these symptoms at some point in their life. But if you have one or more of these common concerns that is affecting your day-to-day life, you should talk with a counselor or your Primary Care Provider:

  • Ongoing sadness, worry, panic or hopelessness
  • Avoiding friends, family and favorite activities
  • Trouble sleeping, low energy or inability to carry out everyday tasks
  • Irritable mood and problems interacting with others
  • Changes in appetite and eating habits
  • Rapid mood swings, inability to control emotions
  • Trouble coping with a loss or life changes
  • Fog or problems with focus, working or learning
